These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, including all related services, features, and content. CariniLang reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective upon posting.
2. Custom Orders and Production
All of our rugs are handmade and made-to-order. Custom orders may include personalized choices regarding size, material, color, shape, and design. Production will not begin without final approval of all carpet specifications. Production timelines vary based on complexity and availability.
Once production has begun, custom orders cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded.
3. Color Disclaimer
We strive to display all product images, especially custom designs, as accurately as possible. However, due to variations in monitors, device displays, and screen settings, the colors you see may differ slightly from the actual rug.
By using this site and/or placing an order, you acknowledge that:
- Colors may appear differently across devices and screens.
- Slight color variation is not considered a defect.
- No refunds, exchanges, or returns will be issued due to color discrepancies resulting from screen differences.
For best accuracy, we recommend requesting physical samples or swatches before finalizing a custom design.
4. Payment Terms
A deposit or full payment are required to initiate production of custom orders. In-Stock carpets must be paid in full. Payment methods accepted include major credit cards, wire transfers, cash and check.
5. Shipping & Delivery
We offer worldwide shipping with white-glove delivery options available upon request. Shipping times will vary depending on location and production completion. As a courtesy to the client, CariniLang can coordinate a repair, installation or delivery. between the client and a third-party rug service company. Our role in organizing this transaction in no way signifies culpability on CariniLang’s behalf.
- CariniLang may coordinate with third-party rug service providers as a courtesy, but assumes no responsibility or liability for their services.
- CariniLang assumes no responsibility for transit once the carpets leave our showroom. Clients may select any shipping provider. Upon request, we may recommend reputable third-party shippers. We will assist with coordination per the client’s instructions, but liability transfers at FOB (Free on Board) point.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Any additional fees incurred due to incorrect addresses or refused shipments will be the customer’s responsibility.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including text, images, graphics, and designs—is the property of CariniLang and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Reproduction or use without written permission is strictly prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
CariniLang shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website, services, or products. All rugs are made by hand, and minor variations in texture, size, or design are part of their artisanal nature.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of New York without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
