Woven in the late 19th century, it is an exceptional example in very good condition for its age with a thick pile. The jewel tone colors in the border of this rug are exceptional and quite rare to be paired with a much lighter field, which features a light seafoam background with beautiful gold, blush rose, orange and off-white ornamentation. The floral motifs create beautiful geometry that give the carpet's design organic movement.
