A rare collectible Moroccan antique vintage shag rug from the Boujad tribe in the central plains of Morocco. This is a rare type of Moroccan rug and an example of very vibrant colors. Featuring beautiful rich red and orange dye with dynamic drawing of dark diamond shaped ornamentation. The colors are saturated and have a beautiful glowing effect in person. It was an authentic Berber piece in excellent condition with fringe on one end. Handmade in the mid-century, around the 1960s.Boujad 1950s-60s
