A vintage Moroccan authentic shag rug is an Azilal with unusually good structure, unlike most, which are loosely knotted. Beautiful natural creamy white wool with dark details forming traditional diamond patterns with a unique center design and bottom border. The abstract irregularity of the ornamentation make this such a charming and unique piece. It was an authentic Berber piece with fringe on one end. Handmade in the 1950s in the Central High Atlas mountains.
