This antique vintage Moroccan rug is unique and rare in its design composition. It is a collectible piece because it is a very rare example of color inversion. The top portion has a brown background with white design and then the pattern switches over to the typical colorway of a white background with a brown pattern. This feature is known from some rugs from the Ait Seghrouchène, but it is considerably rare. Most likely from the region of Skoura M'daz in the center of the territory of the Ait Seghrouchène de Sidi Ali in the central Middle Atlas. It was an authentic Berber piece, originally commissioned in the mid 20th century, likely around the 1960s or 70s
