This antique vintage Moroccan rug came from the Beni Mguild tribe from the central middle Atlas mountains. This rug is quite old and a distinctive example of the diamond pattern or chevron pattern. It features beautiful purple, red, and orange dye, exhibiting rich color glowing colors with the pattern peaking throughout the long, soft pile. It was an authentic Berber piece, originally commissioned in the mid 20th century, around the 1960s. It is a more elegant rug than the average ones of this type.
