This rare authentic antique Moroccan rug came from the Beni Mguild tribe from the central middle Atlas mountains from the region of the Guigou valley. This rug features beautiful pink and purple dye exhibiting rich color with white personal drawings from the weaver. It was an authentic Berber piece, originally commissioned in the mid 20th century, likley around the 1970s-1980s. It is a very special piece, not made for commercial production.
